Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information DealDraft collects when you visit dealdraft.me or join our waitlist, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain English rather than legalese.
1. Who we are
DealDraft ("DealDraft", "we", "us") is a property discovery platform built and operated by its independent founder, currently as an individual rather than a registered company. For any privacy question you can reach us at support@dealdraft.me.
2. Information we collect
Today DealDraft is a pre-launch waitlist. We collect only what you type into our forms plus standard analytics:
| What we collect | How we get it | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | You enter it in the waitlist form | To address you correctly when we contact you |
| Email address | You enter it in the waitlist form | To notify you at launch and send early-access details |
| Phone number (optional) | You enter it in the waitlist form | To onboard brokers faster; you may leave this blank |
| Your role (broker or buyer) | You select it in the waitlist form | To send you the right onboarding information |
| Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, approximate city, device and browser type, referring site | Collected automatically by Google Analytics 4 | To understand which pages are useful and improve the site |
We do not collect government ID, financial information, or precise GPS location through this website. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
3. How we use your information
- To add you to the DealDraft waitlist and tell you when we launch in your city.
- To onboard you as a verified broker or an early user, if you asked for that.
- To answer questions you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- To measure aggregate site performance and improve our content.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with brokers, advertisers or data brokers.
4. Service providers we share data with
We use a small number of third-party processors. Each receives only the data needed to do its job:
- FormSubmit — delivers waitlist form submissions to our inbox. See formsubmit.co.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — website analytics, using cookies. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site; your browser's IP address is visible to Google when fonts are requested.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to click our "Chat on WhatsApp" button.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — serves this website and its CDN/security layer, and keeps standard server access logs.
Some of these providers process data outside India. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's standard contractual protections.
5. Cookies and analytics
This site sets Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to count visits and understand
navigation. These are not used to identify you personally. You can block or delete them in your browser
settings, or install the
Google Analytics
opt-out add-on. The site works normally with cookies disabled.
6. How long we keep your data
Waitlist details are kept until DealDraft launches and for up to 24 months afterwards, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve your query.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you;
- correct or complete anything inaccurate;
- erase your data and remove you from the waitlist;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
- raise a grievance about how we handled your data.
Email support@dealdraft.me with the subject line "Data request" and we will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from any DealDraft email using the link in its footer.
8. How we protect your data
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to waitlist submissions is limited to the DealDraft team members who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board if a breach occurs.
9. Grievance officer
DealDraft is currently run by a single independent founder rather than a company with a formally appointed
grievance officer. Until that changes, the founder personally handles every privacy request and complaint:
Email: support@dealdraft.me
We aim to acknowledge every grievance within 7 days and resolve it within 30, in line with the DPDP Rules,
2025.
10. Changes to this policy
When DealDraft launches its app we will expand this policy to cover listings, chat, location and payments. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, email everyone on the waitlist.
